News, Opinions, and Everything Baseball

About The Baseball Journal

No matter how many home runs you hit, strikeouts you record, or championships you win, the game is still there after you are done.  There are other players, coaches, and teams trying to win the next day.  No person is bigger than the game itself, but the game wouldn’t be what it is without great people.  Baseball might be the best sport because of the fact that any player can be a hero on any given day; that is not necessarily true for other sports.

Baseball is said to be a kid’s game that grown ups only screw up.  That might be true sometimes, but the intricacies and details of the higher levels are what make the game so beautiful.
